About The Beginning of CrazeWeld

Hi, my name is Joshua Ott.

I am a certified welder, with over 20 years of in-field welding experience in refineries, chemical plants, nuclear plants, steel mills, and pipelines. I’ve welded in amazing places and on amazing projects, from the pipeline on the North Slope of Alaska to the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station in Antarctica.

During my welding career, I have come across many situations where a vacuum-style purging device (also known as an air mover) was necessary, but not used or available. I’ve also experienced seeing homemade devices used in the field, which can compromise legal liability. I have been personally involved in incidents that led to dangerous explosions or costly outages. These incidents could have all been prevented with the correct use of an air mover designed for the job. CrazeWeld, veteran owned and operated, was born to produce such an air mover.
